About The Role

If you are a builder who thrives on solving complex challenges, this role is for you. As the Director of Product Payroll Compliance, you will lead efforts to develop scalable payroll engines across the Americas, ensuring compliance and efficiency. You will focus on research, project management, and stakeholder collaboration to drive growth and navigate regional compliance complexities.

What You Will Do

• Lead research to develop compliant payroll engines across the Americas.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize workflows aligned with local regulations.
• Ensure legislative changes are incorporated into engine configurations promptly and accurately.
• Create resources and frameworks to support compliance decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage end-to-end project execution for payroll system improvements and new implementations.
• Lead and oversee a team of compliance professionals across the Americas.
• Provide guidance on legislative compliance, audits, and regulatory inquiries, ensuring adherence to international standards.
• Act as the liaison between compliance, engineering, and product teams.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies, representing the organization in compliance matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent compliance-specific certification.
• 8+ years managing compliance in a fast-paced, global environment, with expertise in payroll regulations across the Americas.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear workflows and scalable solutions.
• Experience managing and mentoring payroll compliance teams.
• Collaborative work with cross-functional departments.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations in at least 3 countries in the Americas.
• Excellent project management skills, familiar with Scrum / Agile methodologies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across regions and departments.
