What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Technical Lead Full Stack working closely with one of our main clients in the financial sector. You will play a critical role in building and refining our IDP capabilities, leveraging your extensive experience in back-end development, cloud engineering, and stakeholder collaboration to drive success across our organization.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be :

  • Design, develop, and maintain our internal developer platform, harnessing cloud services (predominantly Azure and AWS) to provide scalable and resilient solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear requirements and execute a refined product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Use your mastery of Python and experience with React to create robust back-end and UI solutions, prioritizing performance and user experience.
  • Leverage tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, etc. for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, observability, and automation within a distributed technology environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders to analyze needs and deliver solutions that meet and exceed service-level expectations.

What UST expects from you?

  • Mastery in back-end development with Python.
  • Proven experience in frontend frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of Internal Developer Platform architecture, with experience in platforms like Backstage.
  • Practical experience in cloud architecture with a focus on AWS and Azure.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies such as Terraform , ArgoCD, etc.
  • Familiarity with continuous delivery tools, such as ADO Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems with proven performance, scalability, and resiliency expertise.
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders to perform requirements analysis and product backlog definition.
  • Agile delivery experience, including a comprehension of testing approaches like TDD.
  • Good English level (C1) as you will be working with international teams.

Nice to have :

  • Previous experience in cloud-native platform solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to self-healing infrastructure and automation techniques.
  • Interest in developer experience optimization within an organizational context.

Work location :

100% remote within Spain.

Business Hours : No intensive working days for Friday or summer.
