About the Role

As they continue to innovate, we are seeking a Financial Business Controller to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving financial strategy and ensuring operational efficiency to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead and manage financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business initiatives, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track financial performance, measure progress, and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities in financial operations, developing mitigation strategies and action plans to ensure financial health and stability.
• Manage stakeholder communication and reporting, providing regular updates on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive a culture of financial accountability, transparency, and innovation, fostering a high-performance team culture within the finance organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably within the online gaming or sports betting industry.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, processes, and best practices, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling software).
