Formación

Position Description

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Accounting for all people entering the plant
2. Conducting roving patrols of the plant to ensure facility security
3. Staging office/security during incidents
4. Monitoring CIMA radio and contacting CIMA during incidents
5. Performing safety orientation for visitors and third parties
6. Monitoring contractors and third parties for safety violations
7. Functioning as a historian during incidents

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience / Specific Knowledge

• Certifications, licenses, registrations:
• Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers
• Willingness to use personal and/or company vehicle during employment
• Must pass and complete any required Kinder Morgan safety training as required by customers and at all Kinder Morgan work locations
• Must be able to pass required safety courses at the Houston Area Safety Council
• Must obtain and/or meet all requirements to enter foreign trade zones, such as background checks by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security, including obtaining and maintaining a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
• The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a comprehensive background check after an offer is extended and prior to employment

• Ability to work overtime hours during the week, weekends, and holidays with little or no notice

Physical/Working Conditions

• Exposure to outside elements and adverse weather conditions

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

• Experience with Windows-based software is advantageous
