Job Description : Business Analyst at TUI

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a cross-functional team delivering software solutions for airline operations systems from conception to operation. Your role involves collaborating with architects, data analysts, digital analysts, product owners, software developers, technology leads, and UX / UI designers to define, document, and communicate requirements effectively in an agile environment.

You will evaluate solution options, consult with stakeholders to articulate business needs, and design technical solutions that add value across TUI's global platforms and services. Your deep understanding of TUI products, systems, business models, processes, and data flows will support high-quality business analysis to facilitate growth and digital transformation.

Responsibilities include defining and documenting business, user, and system requirements, managing the requirement lifecycle, supporting multiple agile teams, and providing second-level support for software operation and management. Maintaining up-to-date documentation and supporting team collaboration are also key aspects of the role.

Key qualities include strong collaboration, commercial acumen, a passion for learning, and active participation in the Business Analyst community. Security awareness is essential in all activities.

About You

• Extensive experience in IT-system design and requirements management, preferably in airline or tourism sectors.
• Proficiency in agile development methods and project management.
• Strong analytical skills for complex problem communication to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with functional specifications, system design, requirements elicitation techniques, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and AWS cloud solutions.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for international teamwork.
• A technical or business degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Knowledge of SQL, Java, web services, CI / CD pipelines, and automated testing, with programming skills considered a plus.
