Formación

Position Overview

This position is responsible for the administration and review of all fire safety programs, including evacuation plans, fire drills, fire warden training, emergency action plans, development of personal emergency evacuation plans for self-identified colleagues, evacuation awareness training, and fire risk assessments. The incumbent will ensure compliance with local market regulations and fire codes.

How will you make an impact in this role?
  1. Maintain documentation and administrative tracking of all fire safety programs and activities at AXP facilities within your area of responsibility, including fire drills, fire warden recruitment and training, emergency action plans, navigator training, PRA / PERP programs, fire risk assessments, and awareness training.
  2. Ensure AXP facilities comply with all local fire safety laws and ordinances.
  3. Manage emergency and non-emergency fire drills and inspections at designated facilities in collaboration with local AXP GS management.
  4. Inspect fire prevention, fire safety, and emergency action plans at facilities within your area of responsibility.
  5. Serve as the primary company representative to the local fire department when needed to maintain program effectiveness.
  6. Support the local market Global Security Director / Manager in various operational processes. Be a member of the local Crisis Response Team.
  7. Collaborate with local GRE Facilities management, Workplace Safety, Healthy Living, and other key stakeholders.
  8. Maintain communication with all Global Security management personnel.
  9. Document all programs and include metrics to demonstrate effective management of fire safety programs.
  10. Work with local law enforcement and government fire safety officials.
  11. Assist with Global Security events, incidents, or crises when required.
  12. Travel may be required.
  13. Be on call 24 hours a day.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Five or more years of operational experience in Occupational Fire Safety, Fire Prevention, Emergency Response, or a similar role in the regional / local market.
  2. Knowledge of emergency response training and planning.
  3. Understanding of fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems.
  4. Experience in preparing and executing evacuation drills.
  5. Ability to facilitate, train, and lead large groups.
  6. Excellent computer skills, including Slack, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  7. Thorough understanding of applicable NFPA or country-specific standards and best practices in fire safety and emergency egress.
  8. Strong multitasking, organizational, and project management skills.
  9. Ability to analyze problems and make quick decisions.
  10. Experience in managing large, complex programs using both direct and virtual teams.
  11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
