About the role

What are we looking for :

We seek a Tech Lead with outstanding software development skills demonstrated by proven work results or experience. Someone who cares about code quality and strives to do things right, not just get them done.

• Lead engineering development for a product team.
• Possess strong opinions, weakly held.
• Plan and execute strategies to support future architecture requirements.
• Contribute to improving team processes.
• Mentor experienced engineers.

What would you do at Fever?

In your first month at Fever :

• Become fully integrated into the team, participating in planning, refinement, and retrospectives, and meet departments across Fever.
• Familiarize yourself with Fever’s tech stack, including frameworks, CI/CD workflows, and supporting infrastructure.
• Merge and deploy multiple Pull Requests into production.
• Attend Fever Original experiences like Candlelight.

After 3 months in Fever :

• Develop solutions for complex problems, from architecture design to implementation.
• Write production-grade Python code to handle high traffic, measure outcomes, and improve functionalities.
• Participate in hackdays and hackathons, building strong relationships within the engineering team.

On your 6th month in Fever :

• Take responsibility for various system components, analyze user data, and evolve the platform accordingly.
• Lead the launch of new microservices from development to production.
• Mentor team members through code reviews, architecture sessions, and pair programming.
• Participate in team-building activities.
• Lead initiatives aligned with Fever’s vision.

About you

Must-have skills :

• Strong knowledge of best practices, testing, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, internals, and data-intensive applications.
• Experience with distributed systems, networking, scalability, and resilience.
• Ability to deliver code from development to production.
• Ownership culture.
• Proficiency in business English.
• Understanding of delivering excellent engineering solutions.
• Knowledge of what makes phenomenal product experiences.
• Adaptability to change and new contexts.
• Willingness to learn and improve.

It’s a plus if you have experience in :

• Python
• Handling high-traffic services (>1000 requests/sec)
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
