Job Description: Senior Electrical Engineer (Steel Industry)

Position: Senior Electrical Engineer - Steel Industry

The main responsibilities include:

1. Setting design criteria aligned with project specifications, regulations, and contractual requirements.
2. Preparing and supervising electrical documentation and activities such as calculations, technical studies, equipment requisitions, technical reports, and vendor drawings.
3. Reporting to the project leader and managing workload effectively.
4. Supporting inspections, tests, trials, and on-site activities as needed.
5. Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
6. Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
7. Contributing to departmental improvements through lessons learned, procedures development, and training needs identification.
8. Training and mentoring junior engineers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for large industrial projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in steel plants or metallurgical projects (e.g., electric arc furnaces, rolling mills).
• Knowledge of industrial electrical standards.
• Proficiency in technical English (minimum B2 level).
