Accountabilities and Deliverables
- Contribute to the design and development of software components within quality standards.
- Define, implement, and contribute to User Experience guidelines collaboratively.
- Resolve issues, defects, and queries promptly during all development phases.
- Follow configuration management processes for code deployment.
- Adhere to development processes, protocols, methods, and tools.
- Conduct quality reviews of own and peers' deliverables.
- Estimate effort for technical development tasks.
- Regularly report progress and escalate issues as needed.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members.
- Provide client support when necessary.
- Stay updated on latest technologies and processes.
- Gain knowledge of the client’s business, products, markets, and regulatory requirements.
Key Relationships
- Collaborate closely with your delivery team, including analysts, Quality Engineers, and other Engineers.
- Work with Product Managers to enhance user experience.
- Coordinate with your engineering team lead to ensure quality standards.
- Engage with other teams and colleagues to meet project goals.
- Discuss project matters with clients as needed.
- Meet regularly with your engineering team lead for personal development discussions.

- UI Regression Testing Framework (Playwright)
- Automated Web Accessibility Testing (WCAG)

Knowledge and Attributes
- Experience throughout the development lifecycle into production.
- Experience in enhancing web application user experiences.
- Knowledge of object-oriented development and agile frameworks.
- Understanding of source control, release management, testing, and task management.
- Knowledge of Financial Services solutions (Mortgages, Life Insurance, Retirement, Wealth Management).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical, logical problem solver.
- Capable of working under pressure and managing time effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, positive attitude.
- Flexible and adaptable to project changes.
- Ability to dedicate 2 hours weekly to activities supporting mental and physical health.
