As a PreSales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities within the Digital services sector and providing support to assigned German customers. Your daily tasks will typically include:
- Writing and constructing offers for final customers.
- Providing technical and commercial support to the sales team throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Managing Digital Services opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
- Designing technical solutions and building the entire business case.
- Developing partner relationships to enhance the standard offering and value proposition.
- Understanding and/or detecting customer needs and requirements, providing expert advice on IT solution design.
- Managing client demands and expectations from a technical perspective.
- Supporting commercial processes with priority, multinational, and local accounts sales teams, focusing on technical needs and solution definition.
- Sharing technical knowledge from a sales perspective and training the commercial support team.
- Engaging proactively with global areas (Presales, Procurement, Operations, Finances) to meet client demands.
- Collaborating with marketing and product teams to prepare product training sessions for local sales, presales, and engineering teams.
- Keeping up to date with digital technologies and industry trends.
- Achieving defined sales targets, milestones, KPIs, and financial metrics, including revenue and profitability.
Ideal candidate qualifications include:
- A BS/CS degree is typically required; MBA or MSc and relevant industry certifications (such as ISACA CISA, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, etc.) are desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Consultant in the digital industry, with experience in presales and operations. Experience with large accounts (IBEX35, CAC40, DAX) is desirable.
- Experience testing new products, analyzing market fit, and managing global solutions for multinational companies in a professional B2B/B2B2C environment.
- Deep knowledge of T-Tech's global organization and processes, including presales, operations, product, finance, procurement, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the digital industry, market, players, and ecosystems, with a proven track record in developing digital business opportunities.
- Professional demeanor with strong technical and communication skills, effective customer interaction, negotiation, and influencing skills. A passionate team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance business and commercial risks while meeting customer requirements and company goals. Innovative problem-solver with a customer-focused approach.
