Descripción del empleo

As a PreSales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities within the Digital services sector and providing support to assigned German customers. Your daily tasks will typically include:

  1. Writing and constructing offers for final customers.
  2. Providing technical and commercial support to the sales team throughout the sales lifecycle.
  3. Managing Digital Services opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
  4. Designing technical solutions and building the entire business case.
  5. Developing partner relationships to enhance the standard offering and value proposition.
  6. Understanding and/or detecting customer needs and requirements, providing expert advice on IT solution design.
  7. Managing client demands and expectations from a technical perspective.
  8. Supporting commercial processes with priority, multinational, and local accounts sales teams, focusing on technical needs and solution definition.
  9. Sharing technical knowledge from a sales perspective and training the commercial support team.
  10. Engaging proactively with global areas (Presales, Procurement, Operations, Finances) to meet client demands.
  11. Collaborating with marketing and product teams to prepare product training sessions for local sales, presales, and engineering teams.
  12. Keeping up to date with digital technologies and industry trends.
  13. Achieving defined sales targets, milestones, KPIs, and financial metrics, including revenue and profitability.

Ideal candidate qualifications include:

  1. A BS/CS degree is typically required; MBA or MSc and relevant industry certifications (such as ISACA CISA, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, etc.) are desired.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Consultant in the digital industry, with experience in presales and operations. Experience with large accounts (IBEX35, CAC40, DAX) is desirable.
  3. Experience testing new products, analyzing market fit, and managing global solutions for multinational companies in a professional B2B/B2B2C environment.
  4. Deep knowledge of T-Tech's global organization and processes, including presales, operations, product, finance, procurement, and compliance.
  5. Strong knowledge of the digital industry, market, players, and ecosystems, with a proven track record in developing digital business opportunities.
  6. Professional demeanor with strong technical and communication skills, effective customer interaction, negotiation, and influencing skills. A passionate team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to balance business and commercial risks while meeting customer requirements and company goals. Innovative problem-solver with a customer-focused approach.
  8. Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  9. Excellent written communication skills, especially in bid writing and negotiation.

Language requirements:

  • Fluent English (mandatory); German and Spanish are desirable.
