Job Title: Finance Director

A multinational company operating in the retail sector is seeking a Finance Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will report directly to the General Manager of the Country and will lead a team of highly skilled professionals.

Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Compliance
   • Establish and maintain effective accounting processes, procedures, and controls
   • Manage fixed-asset accounting
   • Oversee payment transactions and cash pooling
   • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
   • Manage cash accounting
2. Planning and Controlling
   • Provide qualitative and quantitative financial insights to support the General Manager and functional leaders, enhancing business understanding
   • Implement measurement systems and utilize them effectively in decision-making processes for evaluating ROI on Capex, M&A, and marketing investments
3. Treasury
   • Monitor and forecast cash flow
4. Taxes
   • Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations for both direct and indirect taxes
   • Prepare accurate and timely tax submissions to headquarters
   • Support tax optimization projects
   • Implement and maintain Group Transfer Pricing policies and ensure proper documentation
   • Coordinate with local tax firms and manage relationships during audits or litigations
5. Reporting & Budget
   • Ensure timely and accurate budget preparation in line with Group instructions, collaborating with the General Manager and management
   • Ensure the accuracy of commercial accounts according to Local GAAP and Group accounts according to IAS/IFRS

The successful candidate will support the company's transformation journey and optimize financial structures accordingly.
