In this role, you will work as a consultant for a large insurance company based in The Netherlands. The position is primarily remote, allowing you to live anywhere in Spain. You will be employed on a permanent Spanish contract, with occasional meetings in Madrid or Malaga for team events or training.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and innovate the Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra Data platforms, focusing on Data Governance.
2. Support and facilitate the use of these platforms, maintaining communication with data engineers and technical stakeholders to enable the creation of innovative data solutions.
3. Perform Operations & Service Delivery tasks, including Change Management, Configuration Management, Lifecycle Management, and resolving complex incidents.
4. Ensure security and compliance are maintained according to company policies.
5. Enhance infrastructure availability and stability through monitoring, reliability management, and automation deployment via CI/CD pipelines on Azure Cloud.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a strong thinking level.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT and change projects.
• Basic knowledge of Data Management and Data Engineering.
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra Data platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud infrastructure, systems, and tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and setting up pipelines.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Enjoys a good work-life balance with mostly remote work across Spain.

• Salary: €62,000 annually.
