We are currently looking for a Python Developer for one of our clients, working remotely from Europe.

This role involves joining the Risk Management Team to develop and maintain risk analytics tools, design and implement APIs supporting risk workflows, and optimize data pipelines for efficient processing and reporting. You will ensure the security and scalability of risk-related applications and collaborate closely with risk analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based risk analytics tools and web applications using frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Design and implement APIs to enhance risk management workflows.
  • Optimize and automate data pipelines with Pandas, NumPy, and SQL/NoSQL databases for efficient data processing and risk reporting.
  • Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and adhere to best practices in software development.
  • Collaborate with risk analysts to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Maintain high code quality through version control, testing, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and version control systems.
  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
