Job Description :

Job Summary : Ensuring compliance with global standards of health, safety, and well-being for WERFEN companies in Spain and Portugal, prioritizing safety and wellbeing. Implementing risk management focused on health and psychosocial factors, always placing employee well-being at the forefront. Supporting and protecting all workers by complying with legal, regulatory, and occupational prevention requirements of WERFEN.

Key Accountabilities :

• Ensure safe workplaces and processes, integrating current regulations and supporting the HS Manager.
• Implement programs to promote behavioral change, Health & Safety, and Wellbeing strategies, along with corporate guidelines.
• Implement and maintain an HS management system like ISO 45001.
• Promote worker health policies, conducting internal and legal audits.
• Provide expert advice on health and safety issues to stakeholders.
• Review and update HS policies to ensure legal compliance and train employees accordingly.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to health and safety and wellbeing.
• Implement risk prevention measures and training plans, ensuring their completion.
• Investigate incidents, evaluate preventive measures, and monitor workplace safety metrics.

Networking / Key relationships : Collaboration with organization personnel, clients, External Prevention Services (SPA), and insurance providers to maintain and improve occupational health and safety compliance.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required :

• University Degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Prevention and Integral Safety and Security or upper cycle of Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Additional knowledge of ISO 45001, Occupational Risk Prevention Audits, and System Courses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Copilot, GSST software, and CAE documentation management.
• Languages : Spanish, Catalan, English; Portuguese is valuable.
• Extensive experience in Health and Safety, especially in hospital or SPA sectors as a Technician in Labour Risk Prevention.

Skills & Capabilities : Autonomous, organized, result-oriented, excellent communication, team player, relationship management, customer focus, flexible, adaptable to change, willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
