Senior Project Manager Corporate Transactions (m / f / d)

About the Job

The Corporate Transactions team at Allianz Technology is pivotal in steering and supporting IT-relevant activities related to buy and sell-side transactions across the Allianz Group. This role safeguards Allianz Technology and its Board of Management by managing specific risks and requirements associated with these transactions.

Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will coordinate internal transaction projects, such as IT transfers from Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) into Allianz Technology.

This position requires interaction with senior stakeholders across Allianz OEs and Allianz SE Group Centers, ensuring seamless coordination and preparation for Board of Management approvals.

What you do

• Steer Allianz Technology's involvement in Allianz Group buy and sell-side transactions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and risk management.
• Lead internal transaction projects, including IT transfers, ensuring efficient execution and integration. Oversee the project setup, planning, execution, and closing, while managing time, budget, and resources effectively.
• Engage with senior stakeholders from Allianz Technology, Allianz OEs and Allianz SE Group Centers to facilitate transaction processes.
• Collaborate with various business, support, and safeguarding functions within Allianz Technology to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Prepare necessary documentation and presentations for Allianz Technology SE Board of Management approvals.
• Initiate seamless integration processes following mergers and acquisitions.

What you bring

• Proven expertise in managing complex international programs or projects; strong skills in M&A, organizational transformation and change management.
• Ability to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and collaborate with diverse internal and external audiences, including top management.
• Excellent analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual skills, along with moderation and presentation capabilities. Experience in an international IT (shared service) company would be a plus.
• High level of reliability, dedication and commitment to achieving project goals; ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized and ever-changing work situations.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional foreign language skills are preferred.
• Master's degree in Business Economics, Finance, Management, or IT.
• 6-10 years of relevant work experience , preferably with a consulting background.
