Job Description

The Regional Customer Center Spain, based in Barcelona, focuses on South Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, etc.) and Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Perú, Colombia, Argentina, Panama, Uruguay).

As a software engineer, you will design, program, and test IT software that implements custom functionalities in material handling systems, including business logic, controls for logistical transport, communication with external systems, reporting, data analysis, and emulation.

You will also integrate custom software modules with standard platform software to deliver customer solutions. Proactivity, process orientation, and good interpersonal skills are essential.

Your responsibilities include ensuring high-quality operation of IT infrastructure, applications, databases, and network interactions, collaborating with Operation and Services Teams to maintain service continuity.

Your main tasks include :

  • Creating project configurations and detailed application designs.
  • Implementing and testing software components and interfaces.
  • Deploying and supporting components in factory and customer site environments.
  • Documenting and owning project deliverables.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues, providing support and escalation (Level 3).
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders across multiple projects.
  • Reporting to the IT Software Team Leader.

Your profile

We seek a candidate with :

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Systems or Software Engineering, preferably with B2-level English and Spanish skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development with C# and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of SQL, TCP / IP interfaces, Angular (advanced), .NET, Jira, and Bitbucket.
  • Proven API implementation success, strong communication skills, and ability to work in an international environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to value delivery.

Preferred skills (optional) :

  • Driving license, networking and IT infrastructure knowledge, Kubernetes, big data, logistics experience, agile mindset.
