Job Title: Head of Consumer Finance for Residential Solar Market

Hanwha Energy Europe operates in three segments within the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking to expand our market presence with this key leadership role.

Role Overview

The Head of Consumer Finance (Residential Solar) will oversee all consumer finance activities for residential solar projects in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the strategy and business plan for residential solar consumer finance.
2. Own financial and operational results enterprise-wide, ensuring achievement of key performance metrics.
3. Design consumer financing products, primarily 10/20-year solar loans.
4. Optimize performance across operations, technology, sales, risk, compliance, and finance.
5. Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations and consumer laws.
6. Leverage market presence to create value and drive synergy across related business units such as Imagina (Retail) and Quantica (Installation).
7. Prepare comprehensive reports for financial forecasting and analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in business management, finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer financing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Experience in solar financing is preferred but not mandatory.
4. Deep knowledge of consumer finance operations, product offerings, technology, capital markets, and risk management.
5. Extensive network to develop investor relationships and sales channels.
6. Proven track record with solar, consumer, and asset-backed financing models, including loans, leases, PPAs, and unsecured or collateralized loans.
