Overview

The Services organization is a key driver of growth for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Bringing together our unique and proprietary data, technology, insights, and expertise into a single organization, Services focuses on meeting customer needs and is a key differentiator for Mastercard driving our business growth. Within Services, the Security Solutions Product Line is responsible for Mastercard’s safety and security-related product development efforts to protect the integrity of payments, digital payments, and cybersecurity. Its products encompass cybersecurity, identity, financial crimes & resiliency, experience & disputes, and fraud domains.

We are seeking a Security Solutions Commercialization Lead for Spain and Portugal, reporting to the Commercialization Lead for Continental Europe.

The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging state-of-the-art products and platforms to drive customer value. They are objective-driven and autonomous, comfortable leading both strategic and operational aspects of a broad product portfolio.

Role

The Security Solutions Commercialization Lead for Spain and Portugal represents the product line in the market, providing subject matter expertise and sales support to drive customer value and business growth for Mastercard and our customers.

The main responsibilities include :

  • Managing the Security Solutions product portfolio in the market : owning the Go-To-Market Strategy to ensure market relevance, understanding customer and market needs, and analyzing the competitive landscape for revenue growth.
  • Executing global initiatives to improve the security and resilience of Mastercard transactions, in line with regulations (DORA, PSR, MICA, etc.).
  • Maximizing the value Mastercard delivers to its customers by leading solution optimization and encouraging customer usage, leveraging our Customer Success organization.
  • Participating in new product developments by leading initial customer engagement, facilitating tests and early deployments with the support of the European Security Solutions team.
  • Supporting the Services Business Development efforts to generate incremental growth by contributing industry and domain expertise during sales processes.
  • Demonstrating Mastercard's thought leadership by participating in community and industry events.
  • Partnering with other Services and Products teams to bundle initiatives and present a unified, customer-focused value proposition.
  • Collaborating closely with the account management team to support product performance, evolution, and customer initiatives.

  • Proven experience in driving product development and commercialization, aligning with new product requirements, and implementing processes to accelerate time-to-market and improve outcomes.
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert and product champion, presenting compelling propositions to senior stakeholders and industry events.
  • Success in synthesizing products and services across functional areas into global value propositions that meet customer needs.
  • Highly collaborative, self-driven, capable of managing relationships across multiple functions with limited supervision.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams managing multiple projects and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in the payment ecosystem, understanding of industry trends, with knowledge in cybersecurity, identity, financial crimes & resiliency, experience & disputes, and fraud.
