We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to join the division of Industrial Gases in Spain, based in Madrid.

The successful candidate will focus on developing measurable results and increasing business in the regions of Madrid, Castile La Mancha, and Leon (excluding Burgos and Palencia), Extremadura, Murcia, Andalusia, and the Canary Islands.

Main Functions

  • Maximize sales volume and profitability within the assigned region.
  • Identify and understand customer application requirements.
  • Conduct market research and ongoing customer visits.
  • Map the market and identify key customers.
  • Collaborate with the team and utilize Donaldson's existing network to open new business opportunities.
  • Research the best technical solutions based on customer needs, and prepare presentations and documents.
  • Ensure all commercial aspects of sales transactions are successful for the company and its customers.

Candidate Profile

We seek a motivated, sales-oriented individual with prior experience in technical sales and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales within an industrial environment.
  • Technical engineering or higher education.
  • Preferably located in Madrid.
  • Availability to travel within the territory (approximately 70%).
  • Knowledge of compressed air, industrial gases, and filtration is highly valued.
