IT product support and development of the application for procurement management (f / m / d)

The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate service provider, supporting real estate policy goals and providing land and buildings for federal authorities. With over 7,000 employees across Germany, we manage a diverse real estate portfolio and natural areas, acting sustainably and innovatively.

We ensure secure digital processes through the management and optimization of our IT infrastructure. Our IT division advises on content, process, and economic issues, continually developing BImA's "digital nervous system".

We are looking for a IT Product Support and Development Specialist for Procurement Management Applications (f / m / d) in Potsdam or Bonn, to start as soon as possible. This permanent position (pay group A 12 BBesO / pay group 12 TVöD Bund) offers a salary with potential additional allowances.

You will support our award management application, integrated within our SAP landscape, collaborating with SAP experts and customizing relevant systems. Your role includes advising employees, supporting further development, and representing other IT products in your team.

Main responsibilities include :

  • Managing the application and interfaces within BImA's IT landscape, in cooperation with departments, external providers, and IT operations.
  • Collaborating closely with the SAP team for system customization.
  • Analyzing IT faults at 2nd and 3rd levels and developing solutions.
  • Managing external service provider relationships.
  • Handling change requests and managing their implementation within IT change management processes.
  • Planning and overseeing development go-lives.
  • Managing release processes for IT products.
  • Communicating with stakeholders about product development and rollout.

Business trips may be required, planned in advance to support work-life balance.

Qualifications include :

  • University degree in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least three years of practical IT experience, including product management.
  • Experience with content management systems, especially AI Allocation Managers from Administration Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of SAP environment, interface management, and customization.
  • Experience managing external service providers.
  • Understanding of IT requirements, change management, IT law, compliance, data protection, and security.
  • Technical English proficiency.
  • Quick learner for new responsibilities.
  • Creative, independent, goal-oriented work style.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Teamwork and social competence, with critical thinking.
