Job Title: Electrical-Mechanical Engineer Installation and Service

Job Description:

Your position

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the electrical installation and service processes, including power distribution installation and safety testing. Your responsibilities include reading control diagrams, utilizing advanced network technologies such as Industrial Ethernet and AS-i bus (Profibus knowledge is a plus), and installing and verifying electrical enclosures and cabling based on drawings and specifications. You will use checklists and your experience for commissioning, from connection to testing I/O points. Additionally, you will participate in service trips to support equipment and assist customers. Collaboration with PLC engineers, the integration manager, and working with IT equipment are integral parts of the role. Mechanical skills are advantageous, as some mechanical tasks may be involved, supported by the site supervisor or mechanical leader. The profile sought is approximately 70% electrical and 30% mechanical.

Your department

You will be part of the Module Deployment Group PAX, responsible for deploying all Pax products. This international team collaborates across Vanderlande's airport division, deploying products globally in a growing phase.

Your profile

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of network design and installation, including PROFIBUS, Profinet, AS-i bus, and Industrial Ethernet.
• Understanding of power distribution systems.
• Ability to perform electrical and isolation tests on integrated machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, grounding, and regulations.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time.
