A vacancy for a NG PLM Solution Train Engineer for 3D Xperience business function (d / f / m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Spain) .

It is an exciting time to join the Information Management (IM) Team. IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and a key IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space. As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and supports both technical and management careers. IM covers a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies, including IT infrastructure, application support, governance, and strategic consultancy.

As a Solution Train Engineer (STE), you will be at the forefront of shaping innovative digital Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools that aim to reduce product development lead time for Airbus's new generation of European defense weapon systems.

Aligned with the motto “building the things right,” the position owner will be integrated into our 3D Experience SAFe teams to :

• Prepare Product Increment Planning ceremonies
• Coordinate DevOps deployments across all test, qualification, training, and production platforms of 3DX
• Manage the integration of bug fixes, PP, and FD's
• Lead the architecture team to align architecture needs with 3DX evolution
• Qualify harmonized access management (PnO)
• Manage non-functional requirements & compliance
• Define and prioritize enablers

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• Lead the integrated planning of 3DX One Platform technical releases across Airbus group divisions
• Collaborate with agile release trains (ART) and scrum teams to achieve common deliverables
• Ensure proper integration and documentation of components of the technical architecture, including interface design
• Provide technical excellence, support, and quality throughout project stages
• Partner with technical departments in selecting new applications, technologies, and solutions
• Advance DevOps initiatives and methodologies in sensitive environments
• Develop and promote best practices in security and digital continuity architecture
• Perform code and quality reviews
• Learn and apply leading-edge architecture methods and practices

Candidate skills and experience :

• Master's degree in IT or Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience
• Experience with large solutions or release trains processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Experience with 3DX development
• Experience with performance and failure analysis
• Knowledge of continuous integration and DevOps deployment
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Aptitude for learning new technologies
• Commitment to data security and protection
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• German / Spanish language skills are a plus
