We’re looking for our Founding Full Stack Engineer — someone who wants to build core infrastructure from scratch, ship fast, and solve real-world problems with code. If you’ve ever wanted to be on the ground floor of something big, this is it.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end development of Nestra’s digital platform — frontend, backend, and everything in between.
- Work directly with the founders to shape the product roadmap and technical architecture.
- Build elegant interfaces and scalable backend systems that support real-world operations.
- Design APIs and integrations that power our automation and connect us to external services.
- Set the foundation for engineering best practices: CI/CD, testing, observability, security.
- Move fast, learn even faster, and help us iterate toward product–market fit.
- Require: 5+ years full-stack experience in fast-paced environments or early-stage startups.
- Builder mentality: love taking ownership and turning ambiguity into working software.
- Technical versatility: fluent with modern frontend frameworks (React, etc.), backend languages (Node.js, Python, etc.), and cloud platforms (AWS, etc.).
- Product-oriented: care about the “why,” not just the “how,” and enjoy collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
- AI-savvy: curious about and eager to leverage AI tools — from LLMs to automation APIs — to enhance product capabilities and development speed.
- Startup DNA: bias to action, comfort with change, excited to build from zero to one.
- Must already have the right to work in Spain or the EMEA region — no visa sponsorship at this stage.
- While remote-first, our headquarters are in Barcelona. Ideally, you are here or willing to join in person 4 days a month.
- Experience in proptech, construction tech, or digitizing legacy industries is preferred.
- Enjoy working close to physical-world operations (e.g., logistics, real estate, supply chains).
