Descripción del empleo

We are looking for an EU Fleet Compliance Manager responsible for maintaining fleet standards. The role involves managing and improving fleet auditing and accountability mechanisms, ensuring adherence to contractual and service level standards. This includes developing training materials, guidance, and mechanisms to enable stakeholders to apply standards consistently. When standards are not met, the role will utilize policies to take appropriate actions.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, with excellent networking, assurance, and communication skills. Since the decisions made by this individual directly impact safety and productivity, seniority, confidence, and business acumen are important.

The successful candidate should be customer-focused, highly analytical, resourceful, capable of operating at all organizational levels, and comfortable making critical business decisions in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.

Experience in fleet management is beneficial but not essential.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to meet quality assurance standards.
  2. Manage fleet accountability metrics across the EU.
  3. Conduct ongoing data analysis to identify systematic failures.
  4. Document and report on service quality levels.
  5. Build effective relationships with senior leadership and legal teams within EU Amazon Logistics (AMZL).
  6. Foster collaborative relationships with Fleet Operations and Compliance Leaders in other regions.
About the Team

The EU Fleet Compliance Team ensures fleet roadworthiness, safe operations, legal compliance, and vehicle health, thereby improving safety for vehicles, drivers, and the community.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in assurance, automotive, engineering, logistics, legal, or contract management.
  • Experience influencing and working with cross-functional teams at senior levels.
  • Track record of developing strong, value-adding partnerships.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of engagements, knowing when to delegate or act.
  • Excellent communication skills with high accuracy and attention to detail (business proficiency in the local language and English).
  • Experience working independently in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or other postgraduate degree.
  • Quality Management Certification.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Knowledge of a second European language is an advantage.
