MANUFACTURING ENGINEER LARGE RADIAL STRUCTURES (F / M / X)

Country : Spain

Job Location : Zamudio, Bizkaia

Objective of the Position : To expand our team of manufacturing process engineers for aerospace components, focusing on developing and improving manufacturing processes for large radial structures.

Main Responsibilities :

1. Define manufacturing processes for new components, including generating manufacturing routes, creating solid models, instructions, and work guides.
2. Identify and implement improvements to industrialize products, reducing time, costs, and non-quality costs.
3. Support production and continuous process improvement initiatives.
4. Implement new technologies and planned improvements to enhance competitiveness.
5. Identify process control variables to ensure sustainable product quality.

Candidate Profile :

• Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or similar; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing processes, especially welded assemblies.
• Skills: Ability to interpret drawings, proficiency in 3D modeling (preferably Siemens NX), statistical analysis, and knowledge of Teamcenter and SAP.
• Languages: Spanish (First Certificate level or equivalent).
• Valued but not essential: Experience with nickel/titanium machining, welding, dimensional verification, non-destructive testing.
• Personal skills: Teamwork, communication, autonomy, proactivity, results orientation, adaptability, motivation for continuous improvement, and willingness to work in a dynamic, international environment.

Training Provided :

• Manufacturing processes of aircraft engine static components, materials, and key processes.
• Tools and software for product and process management.
• Process data analysis (SPC, etc.).
• Aircraft parts quality management.
• Ergonomics and safety in processes.
• Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Team and Environment : You will collaborate with experienced professionals in a multidisciplinary team at ITP Aero’s headquarters in Zamudio, working on long-term projects in the aerospace industry, including process engineers, CNC programmers, quality engineers, and project managers.
