A leading biopharma partner is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in breast cancer to join their team in Spain. The MSL will provide scientific support to healthcare professionals and develop relationships within the oncology community. Candidates should have a strong background in oncology, along with relevant qualifications and experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Prior MSL experience required; solid tumor oncology experience preferred.
• Valid and clean driver’s license.

Role Overview

The MSL is part of a global, field-based team of scientific experts, acting as an extension of Medical Affairs. The primary focus is on providing clinical, scientific, and educational support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) at clinical trial sites, including Principal Investigators (PIs) and their teams, as well as national and regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) influential in medical oncology communities. The MSL develops strong relationships within the oncology community and gathers insights to support strategic objectives. Responsibilities include delivering protocol education to physicians and support staff to optimize study performance within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, non-promotional scientific information about study drugs and pipeline compounds to study sites and referral networks.
• Stay updated on clinical knowledge, published data, and trial work related to client and competitive products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in oncology.
• Collect insights to inform client strategies.

Qualifications

• Physician, Pharmacist, PhD, MSc in a relevant scientific field or equivalent qualification (preferred); BSc. minimum requirement.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with prior MSL experience; solid tumor oncology experience is required, breast cancer experience is a plus.
• Valid and clean driver’s license.
