General Description :

BeOne Medicines is seeking an experienced Sr. Paralegal to support our dynamic in-house legal team, primarily in corporate entity maintenance and governance for our Swiss subsidiaries and other international subsidiaries. The role may also include assistance with contracts and project-based support. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in Europe.

Responsibilities :
  • Corporate Governance Support
  • Manage corporate records for BeOne Medicines entities in Europe, JAPAC, and the NM region, outside of the US and China.
  • Build and manage electronic subsidiary and corporate record systems, including organizational and qualification documents, board and shareholder minutes and consents.
  • Form and handle corporate housekeeping for entities in Europe, JAPAC, and NM, including drafting organizational documents and maintaining corporate records.
  • Maintain statutory registers and coordinate statutory document supply to authorities.
  • Oversee legal documentation supply chain between internal departments and external stakeholders, including notaries.
  • Coordinate with paralegals in the US and China.
  • Assist with managing the corporate electronic data room.
  • Support intercompany transactions and documentation.
  • Assist with notarization and legalization of documents for regulatory filings.
  • Ensure meticulous corporate recordkeeping.
  • Assist with simple contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Collaborate with the Legal team on contract management and other projects.
Finance
  • Approve annual accounts and appoint auditors.
  • File annual accounts and other statutory compliance documents.
Other Project and Transactional Support
  • Support the Legal and Compliance team with corporate transactions and initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position does not currently have managerial or budgetary responsibilities.

Requirements :
  • Minimum 8 years of professional paralegal or equivalent experience, preferably in a publicly listed global pharmaceutical or biotech company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal certificate required.
  • Experience with corporate records of Swiss companies and international subsidiaries.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Computer Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and project management tools like Microsoft Project and Visio.
