Tasks

As an Information Security Manager, you will build up the market and coordinate the implementation of regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for managing central regulations and templates related to information security in the Market division. Additionally, you will monitor the implementation of internal methods and procedures, such as risk management, and handle administrative activities related to information security.

You will be involved in external certifications and internal audits, as well as coordinate the deployment of external data protection officers.

You will participate in internal specialist meetings of the IT trustees and prepare and conduct regular meetings.

You will support training and awareness-raising measures on information security within the market.

Requirements

• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with subject-specific further training.
• You have experience in information security and are willing to complete training as an Information Security Officer.
• You possess strong consulting skills in information security and GDPR, with the ability to determine protection requirements and knowledge of protection mechanisms.
• You have in-depth knowledge of risk analysis and assessment in information security.
• You demonstrate excellent communication skills in information security and GDPR areas.
• Your personality features high communication, feedback, and conflict resolution skills, good self-management, and resilience. You also excel in strategic and holistic thinking.
• You have a very good command of German and English.

Role Overview

The Information Security Manager is responsible for establishing, operating, and maintaining the information security management system (ISMS) in their area. They operate the local ISMS and represent the interests of information security there.

The ISM is not responsible for establishing, operating, and maintaining organizational and technical security measures (Asset Owner : in).

The ISM is appointed by the division manager.
