Inside the sales area, we are searching for entry-level professionals, preferably with a technical background in an engineering degree, with the appetite for developing a career in the Sales Department of the Aeronautical Division of Gaptek. The position will report directly to the Sales Director of the Aeronautical Division. The role is based in Barcelona, Spain.

About your experience: Not necessarily required, although more than 2 years of experience in the aviation sector (airports, consultancy, airlines, or MROs) is preferred. Experience in sales departments of the industrial or construction sectors will also be considered positively.

TASKS:

  1. Assist in the commercial activities of the Sales Department, supporting sales growth mainly in Europe, Middle East, North America, and worldwide.
  2. Proactively contact existing clients and potential clients, maintaining updated records on the CRM portal.
  3. Provide administrative support to Regional Sales Representatives and the Sales Director, with tasks allocated daily to meet customer needs.
  4. Support lead identification for new opportunities, review incoming documentation, and assist in preparing presentations and proposals.
  5. Organize meetings, prepare agendas, participate, and take minutes as directed.
  6. Ensure accuracy and meet deadlines set by the Sales Director.
  7. Maintain and update company information systems, including CRM, databases, and spreadsheets.
  8. Raise orders to the Financial Department for invoice processing.
  9. Support the preparation and attendance at international business tradeshows when required.

Keep abreast of market developments and coordinate business development efforts with the Marketing Department.

SKILLS:

  1. Native Spanish, fluent English; additional European languages, preferably French, are a plus.
  2. Business acumen.
  3. Proactive and team-oriented.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Self-motivated and adaptable to change.
  6. Organized, with the ability to manage CRM systems effectively.
  7. Results-oriented.
  8. Willingness to travel up to 10%, mainly within Europe and occasionally overseas.
  9. Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
  10. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
