The Carlos III National Cancer Research Center Foundation is seeking applications for the position of Scientific Director of the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO). Established in 1998, CNIO is a leading cancer research institute with over 400 researchers across 33 groups, dedicated to excellence in oncology research. Governance and Structure
CNIO is a public foundation governed by a Board of Trustees, with a Scientific Direction responsible for its scientific activities. It also has a Scientific Advisory Board composed of eminent international scientists, which evaluates the center's scientific output and advises on strategic issues.
Responsibilities of the Scientific Director
Selection Process

The process aims to conclude within six months and involves a selection committee comprising national and international experts, chaired by the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Universities. The appointment is made by the CNIO Board of Trustees.
