Tasks
- Actively contribute to the migration of legacy frontend code to a modern architecture based on Web Components using Lit.
- Research and propose solutions for implementing Microfrontends, including evaluating suitable build tools for this architecture (migrating from Vite or others).
- Design and implement reusable, high-performance, accessible, and well-documented components.
- Optimize frontend performance (load times, rendering, asset optimization).
- Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for the frontend.
- Collaborate with the backend team to define interface contracts (APIs).
- Participate in defining and refining technical specifications and UI / UX requirements.
- Manage frontend deployment, with familiarity with platforms such as AWS S3.
- Conduct critical and constructive code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to frontend architecture and best practices.
- Mentor other team members on modern frontend development, Web Components, and advanced architectural patterns.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues and frontend bugs.
- Work closely with UX / UI designers and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend development processes, tools, and team standards.
Requirements
You will rock at this role if you have :
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer.
- Solid, hands-on experience in designing and implementing Web Components, ideally using Lit.
- Experience working with and migrating legacy frontend code to modern architectures.
- Experience with modern build and bundling tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Rollup) and the ability to evaluate them.
- Proficiency with Git version control and workflow practices (preferably feature branching).
- Strong experience writing automated frontend tests (e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
- Relevant knowledge or experience in designing and implementing Microfrontend architectures.
- Experience with frontend deployment (e.g., AWS S3, CloudFront).
- Proven ability to identify, design, and solve complex frontend and performance issues.
- Experience conducting thorough code reviews and providing constructive technical feedback.
- Understanding of UX / UI principles and ability to collaborate closely with designers.
- Clear and effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory : You will interact with native and bilingual executives in a professional environment.
- French and German will be highly valued.
- You are based in Spain or you will in a short time
