Our client, a leading retail company, is looking for a Lease Manager (sales market) responsible for the management of the store portfolio in the Iberian region (Spain and Portugal).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Enabling long-term growth by finding top locations for new stores.
  • Obtaining the best possible deals by negotiating lease contracts with property owners.
  • Optimizing the existing portfolio through lease actions for existing stores (renegotiations, rebuilds, extensions, and terminations).
  • Working in close collaboration with the Expansion Manager to set and implement the strategy in your market.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Real Estate, Business / Economics, or a similar field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in leasing, controlling, and / or real estate, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong leasing skills and good legal understanding.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Multi-tasker with strong prioritization skills.
  • Calm and positive mindset during difficult situations.
  • English is a MUST.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and MS Teams).
  • You are ambitious, competitive, and humble, and you value taking responsibility.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a proven track record of achieving results.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade.
  • You are socially confident in negotiations and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
