After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned with the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital (‘Divested Group’). THE ROLE

The Client HR Tech Lead oversees the end-to-end technical landscape for Alight’s Global Payroll clients. They collaborate with clients to understand their needs, providing guidance to optimize HR technology solutions aligned with their business goals and HR transformation. The role also involves staying updated on product upgrades and best practices, identifying innovation opportunities, and supporting the Client Service Lead in enhancing client perceptions and delivery excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide HR technology expertise and best practices within the contracted landscape.
  • Support client technical design post-go-live, leading discussions on standard and custom solutions.
  • Coordinate product upgrades and feature enablement, promoting increased client usage.
  • Manage cross-client initiatives at the account level.
  • Ensure the technological health of service delivery and act as a second-level escalation point for critical issues.
  • Identify opportunities for change requests (CRs) and support their implementation.
  • Maintain technical documentation and update it regularly.
  • Handle resource requests related to technical changes.
REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with senior clients and internal teams. Knowledge of Alight’s product portfolio (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle hrX, payroll engines, time solutions, etc.) is essential. A problem-solving mindset and coordination skills are also required.
