What are we looking for?

For our specialized team, we seek a Business Analyst - Credit Risk & Compliance, with the possibility of working remotely from anywhere in Spain.

Work location: 100% remote within Spain.

Timetable: Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00.

Mission and responsibilities:

• The Technology Business Analyst collaborates with business partners, integrators, developers, and testers to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Facilitates business requirements gathering sessions and develops necessary documentation.
• Creates clear, concise requirements for technical teams to minimize rework and errors.
• Recognizes business needs and implications of change, proposing alternative solutions when needed.
• Works closely with technical team members to ensure requirements are accurately addressed and supports during design and development.
• Validates solutions before deployment and manages the deployment lifecycle.
• Develops test plans and participates in testing solutions.
• Understands tool logs and runs database queries to review bugs or data changes.
• Depending on experience, may lead or assist with a module or an entire area.
• Collaborates with teams in Mexico and Spain, reporting to delivery leads in Spain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience in IT banking domains, especially in core banking applications and Risk & Compliance architectures.
• Knowledge of Agile/Lean methodologies.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and similar tools; experience with software delivery tools like Harness, Bamboo, Bitbucket.
• Strong risk assessment, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2/C1 level).

Additional skills:

• Technical and functional knowledge relevant to Risk and Compliance architectures.
• Experience in digital banking environments and projects.
• Understanding of high-availability and online performance requirements for digital banks.
