Kotter is a consulting and training firm that partners with clients to achieve blockbuster results faster than leaders believed possible by enabling more leadership from more people. We are seeking a Principal to support our accelerated growth in Madrid, Spain / EMEA. This key position will play a substantial role in growing our regional practice by partnering with organizations to achieve Hard-To-Imagine Results in our current economic landscape.
Our team is enthusiastic and entrepreneurial. The Principal role is the foundation of all of our engagements, connecting and delivering numerous moving parts of engagements to deliver value and impact to clients. Engagement complexity varies by client and engagement, and Principals are typically always managing client relationships across multiple levels of an organization. This is a client-facing role that requires an ability to build trusted advisor relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Principals are involved with engagement design both within the sales process as well as within implementation and execution of the work and may also contribute to helping directly grow the EMEA business through business development and thought leadership.
This is very much both a “thinking” and “doing” role, and overall requires a mix of strategy execution, project management, combined with strong facilitation, leadership coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Functional Responsibilities
Managing implementation and execution of engagements, or parts of more complex engagements
Producing client deliverables, managing timelines, and delivering against objectives, including designing, and facilitating workshops, off-sites, and client sessions involving multiple stakeholders and levels within client organizations
Facilitating the suite of courses within Kotter’s Change curriculum
Scoping client engagements and developing appropriate staffing and pricing models
Developing content and assets, including blogs, white papers, case studies and other tools
Managing client retention and business development activities in a variety of forms : “whiteboard” sessions, RFP responses, drafting SOWs, etc.
Strong command of MS office products, Google Suite, and online collaboration tools
Ability to work and travel throughout the EMEA region, predominantly Europe.
Minimum Experience : 7 years
