APM Terminals headquarters is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join the Global Asset Engineering and Design Team. The role involves providing input and assistance in deploying terminal equipment for new and existing terminals, translating operational requirements into technical specifications and drawings. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and updating equipment specifications based on new technologies and terminal learnings.
  • Creating and maintaining the Employer’s General Requirements, ensuring safety, operational, maintenance, automation, and asset digitization needs are integrated.
  • Conducting technical reviews of supplier-developed equipment designs.
  • Participating in engineering projects, including due diligences, business case development, and technical evaluations.
  • Collaborating with automation teams to incorporate latest trends into terminal designs.
  • Preparing scope documents for RFPs and evaluating supplier proposals.
  • Supporting project execution, including hiring, onboarding, and managing external consultants.

Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Providing input on equipment retrofits, electrification, hybrid initiatives, and automation.
