We are looking for a Solution Architect to join the Roche Informatics division. Roche Informatics focuses on delivering innovative technology to advance medical practice and improve patient lives. The Solution Architect will be responsible for the architecture of the Business Developer Tools product.

The team

You will be part of a global team working on the Business Developer Tools Product, which integrates no-code application platforms and process automation tools for project and portfolio management used by Roche employees and external customers.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Designing solutions in accordance with enterprise standards.
2. Reviewing existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
3. Researching, evaluating, and adopting new technologies through proof of concepts.
4. Designing non-functional requirements and reviewing implementations to identify gaps.
5. Developing architectural strategies and roadmaps.
6. Identifying opportunities to add value and enhance business processes.
7. Architecting, building, maintaining, and operating enterprise-grade systems and applications.
8. Supporting platform compliance and security.

Your qualifications and experience:

1. At least 5 years of relevant experience in software development, integration, and architecture design.
2. Over 1 year of hands-on experience with technologies such as Quickbase, Google AppSheet, Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar automation-enabled PPM tools.
3. Experience working in agile environments (SAFe/Scrum).
4. Experience in regulated environments is a plus.
5. Strong collaboration, influence, and leadership skills.
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Experience working in multicultural, international settings.
8. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
