Job Description:

The successful candidate will join the Treasury Department, specifically within the Transactional Treasury area of the General Economic-Financial Division in Madrid, based at our headquarters. The headquarters support the group's global business activities and subsidiaries.

This role involves supervising internal treasury processes to improve efficiency, mitigate operational risks, and strengthen fraud controls. Responsibilities include coordinating and updating internal control evidence, ensuring compliance with audit processes, and preparing liquidity forecasts for the Group.

Key Functions:

  • Implement and monitor internal control policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Treasury regulations and implement new controls.
  • Coordinate documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Analyze financial results from investments and debt products.
  • Prepare and analyze short and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintain data integrity in cash reporting and update master data.
  • Manage bank counterparties and monitor bank statement uploads in the TMS.
  • Optimize banking pool operations and monitor banking fees globally.
  • Support regulatory compliance processes within the Evidence Framework.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles; experience in financial institutions or multinational corporate audit is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level desirable).
  • Knowledge of SAP and Integrity (FIS) systems is highly valued.
  • Organized, capable of managing large volumes of information across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive, autonomous, and team-oriented mindset.
