We are seeking an experienced Specialist in Dairy and Specialty applications to join our Technical Service and Development team in EMEA. This role focuses on providing technical support for wastewater processes in dairy and other specialties, collaborating closely with customers, sales, marketing, and R&D teams to develop tailored solutions. The role also involves exploring emerging applications and opportunities with specialty membranes.

The position is available in Tarragona (Spain), Greifenberg (Germany), or Chauny (France), serving the entire EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

• Become a subject matter expert on dairy and specialty applications to guide internal teams and clients, ensuring efficient system design, operation, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Present technical proposals and solutions to customers, managing opportunities at all stages using appropriate tools.
• Develop engagement programs with commercial and marketing teams to increase visibility and positioning as a technology partner in the dairy market.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop customized solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analyze systems, and recommend suitable technologies and operating conditions.
• Provide training and technical support on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Create and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and seminars as needed.
• Explore and define new applications for existing products based on market feedback, regional needs, and regulatory drivers, providing feedback for product development.
• Maintain and update product documentation, including case histories and customer success stories.
• Present at conferences, exhibitions, and customer seminars.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional local language skills are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical roles such as Sales, Service, or Project Management within dairy applications or water technologies.
• Technical expertise in water and process solutions, understanding of dairy processes and key parameters (e.g., milk dewatering, whey processing, water recovery).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for business trips.
• Customer-oriented attitude with strong relationship-building skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong digital skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Desired:

• Proficiency in a second EU language.
• Experience in designing, operating, troubleshooting, or manufacturing dairy or water industry technologies.
• Knowledge of current regulations and sustainability issues affecting the dairy industry.
