Formación

• Experience with Scala and Spark, or Java with interest in Scala.
• Familiarity with Kafka (KStreams and KSql) and Spark Streaming.
• Comfort with pair programming and remote collaboration.

We are seeking a data engineer with experience in Spark, Kafka, and related technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading, refactoring, and testing Spark code following best practices, with a good understanding of Kafka architecture patterns and strategies for scaling. Knowledge of datalake, datawarehouse, and delta lake concepts is a plus, along with awareness of current trends in data engineering.

Qualifications :

• Experience with Scala and Spark, or Java with an interest in Scala. No need for functional programming expertise, as our codebase uses an object-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with real-time technologies such as Kafka (KStreams and KSql) and Spark Streaming.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS is advantageous.
• Comfort with pair programming and remote collaboration.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to our tech stack, which includes Node.js, Python, React, MongoDB, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and various AWS services.
• Strong communication, self-management, respect, and inclusiveness skills for remote work.
