Position: Project Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Spain

We seek an experienced Project Engineer, preferably with a background in project management within client or consulting firms, to actively participate in diverse projects ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The role involves managing projects through various phases and specializations, including:

1. Strategic Consulting: Master planning, conceptual engineering.
2. Project Feasibility: Process description, plant layout, scheduling, procurement strategy, financial planning.
3. Project Preparation: Investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, procurement.
4. Project Realization: Management, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, operational management.

The Project Manager Engineer's goal is to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.

Role Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical teams, contractors, and suppliers for efficient project execution.
• Develop and track project schedules and milestones.
• Manage budgets and optimize costs without sacrificing quality.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Report progress and suggest improvements.
• Experience with permitting and procurement is advantageous.
• Knowledge of civil works, utilities, and process utilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Industrial engineering with specialization in Organization, Chemicals, Bio-Chemicals, Mechanical, or similar.
• Experience: 3-6 years in industrial projects; experience in Food, Beverages, or Biotech industries is a plus.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English; French or German is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Driver’s License: B
• Skills: Analytical thinking, organization, team management, effective communication.
