Formación

Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer in Spain, Barcelona to join our globally diverse team. This is an opportunity to work with a variety of tools like Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, and a variety of AWS services.

We would love to speak with you if you have skills in application packaging and distribution, creating pipelines, containers and using tools like Terraform for AWS.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • At least 3 years of experience as Developer or DevOps work experience of which 2 of those years should be in the DevOps space.
  • At least 2 years of AWS experience managing resources in some subset of the following services : RDS, EC2, ECS / EKS, IAM and Lambda.
  • At least 1 year of experience developing Pipelines on a build server (Jenkins / Bamboo / etc), application packaging and distribution.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Docker & Terraform, including experience writing Dockerfiles and Kubernetes manifests.
  • At least 1 year of experience working on Linux / Unix environments.
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills a must.
  • Ability to “read the docs” and learn new technologies.

It would be great if you also had . .

  • Scripting experience on bash, python.
  • AWS certification.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Working with Development and QA teams to improve and maintain the build, release, and app distribution pipelines.
  • Troubleshooting environment-related problems with Development teams.
  • Improving and supporting the backend cloud infrastructure through automation and ensuring highest levels of security and availability.
  • Improving automation where necessary.
  • Bringing new ideas to the team.

Product you will be developing

There are many products we support in the Intellectual Property space and in this role you will be supporting a product that relies on AWS infrastructure to deliver apps built using Electron framework.

About the Team

Our team works mostly with Developers and QA to help make improvements to current systems, deploy new systems, and help retire old systems. We also contribute experience with AWS, networking, monitoring, security and system configuration. The team size comprises of 8-10 engineers.

Hours of Work

This is a Full Time permanent role, based out of our Barcelona office on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days per week in the office. On call required - rotational.
