Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer or in similar roles.
• Strong technical background with certifications in IT operation frameworks.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and system security.

Job Summary

The Corporate IT Systems Subject Expert forms part of the team of engineers focused on systems-related technologies within the wider Corporate Systems team. The role involves driving the implementation, operation, and improvement of the systems tech stack and practices, including compute, storage, identity, and security, with a focus on our corporate systems' reliability, scalability, and efficiency. The role collaborates closely with the Technology, Corporate, and Platform teams to align and drive the corporate IT compute system. The ultimate goal is to build and operate a reliable, scalable, and secure set of compute capabilities in HBX Group while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate IT Systems team in day-to-day activities, delivering high-quality results and meeting service targets.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Systems Lead and other platform teams to align on the IT roadmap and strategy.
• Drive strategic compute initiatives, focusing on on-premises and cloud capabilities, storage, identity, and security, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
• Implement best practices, standardized, and automated processes to ensure effective computing services, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for resolving computing service issues and act as an escalation point for complex challenges.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and methodologies.
• Participate in a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, sharing knowledge, learning, and problem-solving.
• Contribute to discussions and decisions on the overall IT architecture and direction.

Skillset and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a systems engineer or in similar roles.
• Experience in IT operations or related technology functions.
• Strong technical background.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services (IaaS, etc.).
• Experience with AD, Exchange, O365, ADFS, GPO, and SSO systems.
• Knowledge of system security, storage, backup, and recovery.
• Experience with MS platforms (Win 7/8/10).
• Familiarity with network topologies and TCP/IP protocols.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.
• Certifications in IT operation frameworks and Agile methodologies are highly desirable.
• MS Systems certifications (e.g., AZ-104) are required.
