This role is part of the Rewardful team, one of our growing brands at saas.group.

Rewardful, launched in 2018, helps SaaS companies manage their affiliate programs via Stripe or Paddle. It is the preferred choice for over 2,600 SaaS brands. Our small, expanding distributed team is dedicated to fostering a creative and innovative work environment where team members can learn and grow.

Profile Overview

As a new member of our Engineering Team, you will enhance Rewardful's affiliate management platform. Your responsibilities include designing new features, optimizing systems, and contributing to product growth through collaboration with colleagues to solve complex challenges, improve performance, and maintain code quality.

Our stack: Ruby on Rails 7, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, Redis, RSpec, Capybara, Heroku, GitHub Actions

Your immediate impact (first 3-6 months):

• Contribute to launching the affiliate marketplace, our next big project.
• Improve frontend architecture for a better user experience.
• Automate internal processes to support growth.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy new features supporting merchants and affiliates.
• Make decisions on architecture and technology choices.
• Optimize application and infrastructure for speed and reliability.
• Assist customer support and develop tools to automate platform operations.
• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain the platform.
• Reduce technical debt to keep the codebase clean and enjoyable to work on.

What you bring

• At least 3 years of professional Rails experience, with practical understanding of scaling Rails applications.
• Product and UX sensibility; ability to discuss product design and identify poor design.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in Slack and GitHub.
• Empathy and teamwork skills; open to giving and receiving constructive feedback and supporting teammates.
