WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Big Data Administration Engineer, you will control Big Data environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Datalake, Kafka clusters, and data ingestion software. Your responsibilities include:

• Installation and administration of Cloudera environments (CDH and CDP, high availability).
• Management of Kafka environments, automation, and high availability.
• Managing critical environments for different customers with diverse characteristics.
• Designing Big Data solutions for clients and leading in Big Data technologies.
• Administering public cloud Big Data environments.

EXPERIENCE

+3 years as a Big Data Administration Engineer.

EDUCATION

Technical Degree.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Required:

• Experience with Big Data administration, high availability, and security environments.
• Expertise in Spark, Kafka, Cloudera, Confluent, Ab Initio, IBM CDC.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Automation skills with Ansible, Shell scripting, Python, and adaptability to new technologies.
• Experience with ALM tools (Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Jenkins).
• Cloud technologies (OpenShift, Azure, AWS).
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Experience in Software Architecture.
