Formación

• 6+ years of software development experience, preferably with Project Lead experience.

What You'll Do

1. 6+ years of software development experience, preferably with Project Lead experience
2. Takes personal responsibility for quality and maintainability of the product and actively identifies areas for improvement
3. Identifies problems / risks of own work and of OWASP
4. Possesses empathy with the user of the software they are producing and uses that empathy to guide decision-making
5. Identifies viable alternative solutions
6. Follows SDLC processes, including adopting agile-based processes / meetings, peer code-reviews, and technical preparations required for scheduled releases
7. Partners with product and analytics teams to drive requirements that consider all parties' needs
8. On-boards and mentors less experienced team members
9. Develops sophisticated software with minimal supervision
10. Makes complex contributions to technical documentation / knowledge base and team / engineering presentations
11. Strong ability to mentor and guide junior developers
12. May have a role in supervising others or leading small to moderate projects
13. Fixes complex bugs and demonstrates advanced debugging skills
14. Produces quality API documentation and ensures practices are followed
15. Contributes to system design sessions in their area of specialty
16. Expanded code review responsibilities
17. Performs advanced refactoring

What We're Looking For

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years’ experience
2. Experience working in OS X and Linux environments, Python frameworks, AWS, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, GIT
3. Experience working in a scrum and DevOps environment. Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle
4. Experience designing and building JSON or REST services, working with 3rd party APIs, AWS APIs, Docker or other containers, large-scale or distributed web applications, Test Driven Development, and functional testing
