A Lead Statistician builds and leads teams of statisticians and representatives from other functions, ensuring the use of appropriate and efficient statistical analysis methods during development, submission, and/or lifecycle management of Bayer products, according to applicable standards and guidelines. They represent projects to line management and governance boards.

Hours per week: 40h.
Schedule: 9h to 18h. Hybrid work model.
Gross annual remuneration: According to the Offices and Offices Agreement, to be discussed in the interview.
PhD or MS in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
At least four years of experience as a statistician in Pharma, Biotech, or similar sectors.
Thorough knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, drug development processes, and related regulations.
Leadership experience in team management.
Ability to embody VACC behaviors (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach), mentoring skills, and cultural adaptability.
Experience in multiple relevant fields.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in statistical programming languages (SAS and/or R).
Fluent in English.
