In the CoE of Advanced Analytics at Fujitsu

we are currently looking for a Data Engineer with experience in data processing and analysis within healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in statistical tools such as SPSS and Python, and capable of handling data from various sources—including relational databases, OLAP cubes, and public health information systems—to support clinical, epidemiological, and health policy decision-making.

As our future Data Engineer, you will :

  • Join an interdisciplinary team committed to leveraging data for informed public health decision-making.
  • Extract and process data from multiple sources such as multidimensional cubes, SQL databases, and health surveillance systems.
  • Generate frequency tables and descriptive statistics for epidemiological reports (e.g., vaccination tracking).
  • Develop scripts and automated processes for data cleaning, integration, and validation.
  • Document workflows and results clearly for collaboration with clinical or analytical teams.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and analytics professionals to align data work with operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) when handling sensitive information.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably within the IT and/or consultancy industry.
  • Experience with SPSS and Python for statistical analysis.
  • Experience working with healthcare databases or clinical records.
  • Basic knowledge of querying and extracting data from relational databases.
  • Familiarity with OLAP cube systems (e.g., multidimensional cube navigation) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to healthcare data contexts.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with non-technical teams.
  • Organized and autonomous, with a hybrid/remote work modality and openness to on-site work when system access requires it.
