Our client is seeking Software Developers in Test with expertise in Networking and Test Automation to join a team responsible for developing new automation solutions for our customer. This team defines processes, debugs product functionalities during release cycles, and collaborates closely with the Test and Framework Development Team to identify root causes, raise issues, and triage problems. Additionally, the team works with the customer's developer team to address feature issues, aiming to reduce product flaws and maintain a high test pass rate to ensure product quality and performance metrics (Quality Gate). The process must align with the customer's agile release strategy.

Candidate Profile :

The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of software testing and automation, computer networking, and troubleshooting skills for debugging various testing scenarios. Proficiency in Python is highly preferred, as the framework and tests are written in Python. The current team comprises experienced Automation and Manual QA Engineers working within an agile Product Lifecycle Management process.

Responsibilities :

• Debug functional aspects of products and test frameworks, gaining experience across various technologies and devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Cumulus).
• Define, maintain, and own the Quality Gate process in collaboration with the team.
• Contribute to new test automation and framework development using complex Python scripts within a state-of-the-art infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Release Gate process to enhance product quality strategies.
• Run and debug automated integration and system tests as per release requirements.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve defects promptly.
• Work with the local team to debug framework and test-related issues.
• Test and debug issues in highly scalable, distributed systems and data center products.

Qualifications :

• Good knowledge of computer networking (CCNA / CCNP level preferred), including L2 / L3 protocols, Ethernet, TCP / IP, switching / routing algorithms, data center networks, BGP.
• Proficiency in GNU / Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and command-line tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Motivated, high performer.
