Descripción del empleo

This is an opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their Finance career in a role with a finance reporting focus. You will work closely within our Finance reporting team to ensure smooth and timely completion of month end and other periodic tasks, including supporting the submission of information to regulatory bodies and additional information to HBX Group finance consolidation team.

Responsibilities :

1. Assist and support all month end processes, including ensuring all journals, accruals, pre-payments, and revenue items are posted correctly.
2. Collaborate with Business Finance and Project Manager to complete source files that drive monthly Profit and Loss accounts within tight deadlines.
3. Undertake weekly cash and foreign currency requirements reporting to monitor potential shortages.
4. Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual commission and override reporting, working closely with the Sales team. Ensure related invoices are reviewed, approved, and paid within the agreed terms.
5. Support and act as the first point of escalation for all internal and external financial queries, addressing them promptly.
6. Post overhead and commission invoices to the accounting software and assist with ledger reconciliations and journal postings.
7. Collaborate with the Business Finance and Project Manager during the annual audit cycle to ensure timely completion of all requests.
8. Work collaboratively with finance and non-finance team members across the business.
9. Perform other duties within the scope and spirit of the role as required by the Business Finance and Project Manager and wider Finance team.
